Download Valhalla Ages Test 5

Use the current Valhalla Ages Test 5 profile to join the public network. It includes the Valhalla content additions, publisher metadata, branded Forge startup and loading screens, branded main menu, and the hardened Ender IO compatibility fix required by the Valhalla Ages additions.

Use a fresh Test 5 profile rather than upgrading an older test profile in place. The server and client are matched to the Test 5 baseline.

START HERE

Install & Join

  1. Own and sign in with a legitimate Minecraft Java Edition account.
  2. Download Valhalla Ages Test 5 from this page.
  3. Open the CurseForge app, choose Minecraft, select Create Custom Profile, then choose Import.
  4. Select the downloaded Valhalla-Ages-Test-5.zip file and let CurseForge finish installing the profile.
  5. Launch the imported Valhalla Ages Test 5 profile. Do not manually replace its mods or Forge version.
  6. Open Multiplayer → Add Server.
  7. Enter play.valhallaviking.com as the server address. The default Minecraft port is used, so you do not need to type :25565.
  8. Join the server. You will enter through the protected Viking longship Hub, then choose Easy or Medium.

First join: if CurseForge shows the direct-download file warning, follow the instructions below. If Minecraft reports an incompatible client, confirm that you launched the imported Test 5 profile rather than another 1.12.2 profile.

NETWORK SPAWN

The Viking Longship Hub

Every public connection enters the Valhalla Ages Hub first. The Hub is built as a large Viking longship with a dragon-style prow, mast and striped sail, shields, lighting, and a central spawn deck.

Spawn protection: 50 blocks Hub border: 100 blocks across Purpose: Safe network entry and world selection

The Hub is protected. Build your actual base and progression in Easy or Medium rather than around network spawn.

DIRECT-DOWNLOAD NOTICE

CurseForge may warn about files that are not on CurseForge

This warning is expected for the direct-download Test 5 package. The ZIP is distributed directly from mc.valhallaviking.com rather than installed from a CurseForge project listing.

  1. Make sure the ZIP came from mc.valhallaviking.com. You may compare it with the SHA-256 checksum published above.
  2. When CurseForge says This modpack contains files that aren't on CurseForge, check I understand that installing all files is at my own risk.
  3. Choose All Files. Do not select CurseForge Files Only, because required profile files would be omitted.
  4. If CurseForge presents another I Understand acknowledgement, accept it to continue the import.

This warning describes CurseForge's moderation status for manually shared files; it does not mean the Valhalla Ages server is offline. The public network is live at play.valhallaviking.com.

QUICK TROUBLESHOOTING

Can't Join?

  1. Confirm the server address is exactly play.valhallaviking.com.
  2. Confirm you launched Valhalla Ages Test 5, not vanilla Minecraft or an older Test build.
  3. Confirm the profile reports Minecraft 1.12.2 and Forge 14.23.5.2860.
  4. If the profile was modified manually, import a clean copy of Test 5 and try again.

Protected Network

Public players enter through a protected Hub, while Easy and Medium remain isolated behind the network proxy.

Persistent Identity

Network routing preserves the player's authenticated Minecraft identity while moving between Hub, Easy, and Medium.

Long-Form Progression

SevTech progression, exploration, engineering, magic, automation, and world-building form the core experience.

Growing Platform

The network is live and will continue receiving Hub, administration, protection, community, and gameplay improvements.
